Treasures Of Troy: My Opinion

The Treasures Of Troy slot from IGT is what they term a "Multiway Xtra" game which means it not only has 1024 paylines but also that every symbol on each reel is a reel in it's own right. If that sounds confusing, it isn't really - all you really need to know about that is that it is theoretically possible to fill the screen with the same symbol although highly unlikley!

IGT's Treasures Of Troy slot is pretty much the same game as White Orchid if you are familiar with that one and an expansion on their Multiway concept first seen in games like Triple Fortune Dragon and more recently expanded to a 720-payline concept in Fire Opals and the popular Siberian Storm slot game. Another Multiway Xtra slot now online is Garden Party which has 1024 lines but plays somewhat differently to Troy.

Like all the above, Treasures Of Troy has a free spin feature but as with White Orchid, this time it is triggered by getting two bonus symbols (the wooden horse) on reel 3 simultaneously. You get 10 free spins and a slightly different set of reels with potential retriggers.

Treasures Of Troy spins very fast and having played it in land-based casinos before it arrived online, the novelty had worn off for me by the time it showed up. It's not a bad game but it's just one I dabble with these days and it does feel a bit old-skool to me. Some of the newer slot games IGT have released (the Star Trek slot and the aforementioned Siberian Storm being good examples) are a lot more fun than Treasures Of Troy in my opinion.

Butas they probably said in Troy before they opened the gates, it's horses for courses I guess.
