Play IGT Slots Online

NB: US residents are not accepted at IGT powered casinos.

IGT (UK) purchased online casino software provider Wagerworks as a vehicle to release IGT slots into online casinos. Although IGT have a strict online policy that forbids players from the USA, Canada and several other countries, what this means is that there are a number of great IGT slot machines now available to play online, including the excellent Cleopatra and the follow-up, Cleopatra II. Oh and lets not forget the new generation of IGT slots, starting with their amazing online port of the motion picture themed Star Trek slot!

The co-ordinated efforts of Wagerworks and IGT have also produced versions of lesser known slot games such as Battleship which some eagle-eyed Vegas slot players may have spotted in kiosk format at one or two land-based casinos, although the online version has different symbols and the addition of free spins to the bonus round. My personal favourite to come out of this now defunct partnership is the Dungeons & Dragons slot which used to be second on my list to Cleopatra 2 but things have moved on in slot-machine land and I don't play IGT's games quite as much as I used to to be honest.

The IGT machines you see in land based casinos will also generally have a lower payout - or more accurately, a lower expected return - than the IGT slots you play online. It's pretty standard for online slots to have RTP's in the 92%-96% range whereas in Vegas you never can tell! Some of the IGT slot machines shown above aren't strictly IGT and are licenced in, as in the case of the Monopoly slot which is a Hasbro brand. However, once licenced, the slot is produced by IGT and available at all the online casinos that carry Wagerworks and IGT games (see right).

I'd also like to point out the Elvis slot above. Some slots players may be aware that IGT produce 2 versions of "Wolf Run" in Vegas/Macau - one is a 40-line version while the other is a newer 50-payline version. IGT's online version of Wolfrun is the 40 line version, but the Elvis slot is in fact a direct clone of the 50-payline version - just has a different skin and sounds. Fans of the Coyote Moon slot should check out Wolf Run as it's pretty much indentical in all but theme.

And finally...a word about the IGT Multiway slots. You may have come across a few of these before, where a symbol can appear anywhere on the reel, left-to-right to make a winline. Effectively this produces 243 winlines, but in reality just does away with the whole payline concept. Well, IGT have released one Multiway slot online - the excellent Triple Fortune Dragon which also has a free spins feature. I expect more to follow in time.
