Wild Panda: My Opinion
The Wild Panda slot
was released online in teh same batch of slot machines as the excellent Tiki Torch
and popular Buffalo slots
which I have not only added to the Aristocrat section
at Slotjunkies but which to be honest, I much prefer playing to the Wild Panda game.
To be fair, the Wild Panda slot is not as volatile as many other Aristocrat games and it is good to have a little bit of lower and medium variance in the portfolio. Wild Panda falls between a little closer to medium volatility in my reckoning.
Wild Panda is an unusual game for two reasons: firstly, there are no wild symbols in the base game. Secondly, you have to spell out PANDA across the 5 reels to activate the 5 free spins. The PANDA symbols (which are actually Q, K and A symbols with letters on) then all turn wild. There are several per reel so you get quite a few wilds turning up. The video above shows the feature in action as usual.
There are some stacked symbols - pagodas in this case - in the game, a little reminiscent of the stacked symbols concept of 50 Lions
but where that has 50 paylines, Wild Panda has 100 paylines. You don't have to play them all however.
It's a decent enough addition to Aristrocrat's online portfolio
but I can't see Wild Panda being at the top of too many people'slists of online games when you consider how many other great slots
we've seen come online now to be honest.
