5 Dragons: My Opinion
The 5 Dragons slot
from Aristocrat will be familiar to a lot of land-based slots players, particularly those in North America and Australasia I suspect. It is a 243-ways Reel Power slot game with a free spins bonus not dissimilar to Aristocrat's Queen Of The Nile 2
slot where you choose your spins and multipliers (the video shows it in action).
I prefer the 50 Dragons slot
to 5 Dragons to be honest and this isn't among my favourite Aristocrat slots
mainly because I've never been a great fan of these 243/1024 'ways to win' slots that IGT refer to as Multiway and Arsitocrat as Reel Power. In the instance of 5 Dragons, like IGT's Triple Fortune Dragon
you have to also get the triggering scatters on reels 1-3 rather than anywhere in view. It makes it hard to get the feature but that said, you then get some big multipliers for the Wild symbol (which only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4) as an option.
It's a medium/high variance slot so fairly volatile and quite possible to go a long time without anything decent so you really need to like the theme of the game and to be patient. I don't and I'm not so I prefer 50 Dragons or maybe 50 Lions
myself and that's where you'll find me. Or possibly playing their Wheres The Gold slot
which I am also a very big fan of.
